Thanks Ann! I'm looking on the positive side now. I have been wanting to redecorate the front window curtains for a while. Now seems like a perfect opportunity. :)

Padwanna!

Hi Pip,

Wow! You had someone break in while you were there! That's really intense. I'm happy to hear that you are okay. And I'm happy that the police could do something about it. It's

Yeah it is a funny thing about fear and emergencies, and the way we react to these kinds of situations. I feel lucky that I am someone who can keep a cool head through an intense situation. Sounds like you are as well.

The funny thing was, I kind of thought the same thing about losing the curtains that you said; that the lesson is I shouldn't get attached to them as they are only material posessions (pun intended) in the end. :)

Take care and speak to you soon,

Padwanna!

by the way may be it was a buddhistic lesson after all: not to get to attached to you're expensive, exclusive curtains, how important can they be.

He Padwanna,

Sounds like a nightmare to me but pretty real this time. Yeah it's a pitty for you're very expensive, exclusive curtains, but like you said it could have been worse. It's a funny thing with adrenaline and instinct, it takes some time to reach you're brain and then when it's there you are able to react in an effective clear way, allthough there are people that become totally apathic with fear and are not able to move at all. I experienced a person entering my bedroom and the good thing was that the adrenaline took over when he left because the burglar was just as shocked about my presance there. In one moment i thought it was the gas men, but he let himself in. I got weak in the knees after, had a confrontation at the policestation and the guy was arrested. Never felt save after that living there, but that was in my old house. Don't think this was an Buddhistic lesson for you, it was however an very practical lesson o be aware and take care off your'self. I hope the rest off the week will be better for you, at least spring is starting tro kick in finally, so enjoy it. Talk to you later Pippi
