The blowing of ill winds.

The burning curtain seems now to have indeed been a portent omen. One friend lies in the hospital striken with a serious illness; another has renounced me for reasons unknown. All in the space of a single day!

I’m not really one who sees signs in everyday events, but having two such things happen only hours apart, well you do start wondering what’s going on. As superstitious as it sounds, ill luck always to seems to follow ill luck, as if each negative thing that happens seems to create a magnetic field that pulls more negativity towards it. Or at least that’s the way it can seem to a person helplessly caught up in the swirling center of it.

I wonder what tomorrow brings!

Do you have the saying that bad things come in threes? It’s a superstition some people have. If so, then this is three for you.

Regardless of whether the superstition is true or not, I wish you the best in dealing with these negative things.

Sorry to hear about your friend…

Be strong and you will overcome every disappointment and personal tragedy. Persist with confidence that no feeling of pain, frustration or despair can withstand the sustained power of your will to be happy.

He Padwanna,

The ladies above said it so beatifully and outspoken, if it is superstition or not don’t let it get to you, you can turn things around. Try to focus on the good things and don’t let this drag you into the negative sides of live.
wish you good luck and thanks for the good piece about time, actually i’m always clueless as well about money and time, put the clock one hour back instead of forward this sunday, i’m wrestling with the phenemon of summertime as long as it exsists.

Hi Ann,

Yes it was an eventful week but in the end it played out okay. It seems the 3 theory actually does hold true! :)

Hi Anon,

That’s a nice bit of philosophy, did you write that yourself?

Yeah I wouldn’t really call this a personal tragedy. A burned curtain doesn’t quite qualify as that, even though I loved the colour of those curtains.

I am happy to say though that my friend has had a change of heart and she and I are talking again, so that’s good news.

Take care,

Padwanna!

Hi Pip,

Thanks for the encouraging words. As it turns out everything went fairly smoothly at the end of the week after those three incidents.

Yeah and thank god the summer is here. I was starting to go a bit stir crazy at the end of the winter.

Take care,

Padwanna!

Hi Brach,

Good to hear from you again. Man, what a harsh deal you got from your boss. I’m sorry to hear that, mate! I hope that you have some better luck soon! I know what it’s like to get fired, but try not to get too down about it if you can. Something always comes along, so I’m sure your luck will turn around soon!

Take it easy (if you can)
