M and I left shortly afterwards. As a woman, I figured she was going to recover remarkably quickly since they don’t find sport as big a deal as men do, even World Cup. And I was right, after 10 minutes of very ordinary sex, she was fine and chatting about the week ahead. I had asked her to make sure that we met up with Balduino and D again, as I did want to get to know that guy better.

Ironicly I didn’t know that fate was going to inextricably weave our two lives together and pit us against the horrors of ex-girlfriends and the Dutch Immigration Department. And if I had’ve known then what I know now, I think the chances are pretty good I would have fled the country!

Andy!

Well told. It almost… but only almost… got me vaguely interested in football.

      Hey thanks, Jens :)

Well I’m not anymore into football than you are, but I found the whole event pretty entertaining! :) Culture can be so confusing sometimes!

Thanks for making it through the whole post! :)

      Andy.

Thanks Bojan, I’m glad you liked it. I found that world cup to be one of the best ones. :) Mostly because of my friend.
