So you got here, and now you’re wondering just what the hell kind of site this is. You know it’s a blog, you managed to work that much out for yourself, but really you want to know what kind of blog it is? Actually while you’re asking, you might even want to know just who the hell I am? After all, these are reasonable questions, the answers to which might just keep you around a bit longer.
The personal story doesn’t matter so much, I could bore you with some details of my early life, but because I didn’t really do anything noteworthy there isn’t that to tell. My life really began when I sold up everything I had at age 27 and left my home country of Australia for the big wide world looking for adventure and whatever experiences were out there. I was looking for anything other than the suburban life, I figured that would come soon enough so why rush into it.
This blog is the written tales of my experiences and thoughts, and more lately my discussions on technology and culture which I have an affinity for. In my daydreams I like to pretend I write like an amateur Charles Bukowski or Hunter S Thompson, with maybe a little bit of Wired magazine feature writer thrown in. I don’t really care if people like what I say or not, I only want it to be interesting.
